USA Baseball and its alumni have shined in its brief history, beginning a longstanding tradition of excellence dating back to 1972, when our first alumnus was selected with the number one overall pick in the MLB Draft, and also to 1988, when we won our first Olympic gold medal at the Seoul 1988 Olympic Games.
