This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Urban Stages is a non-profit theater specializing in giving playwrights and artists of diverse backgrounds a venue for their work. We are looking to build a strong literary committee for our theater. This is an un-paid internship. This is not an office internship. Selected candidates would be required to read and write coverage on (around) 3 plays a week. It's a great chance to be involved in play development and work with the incredibly nice people at Urban Stages.
QUALIFICATIONS:
An academic and/or professional background in the dramatic arts (theater, dramatic writing, film, television)
Must have excellent writing skills.
Must be reliable.
Have a good sense of story and characters.
Prefer those who live within NYC.
We accept current students.
