Upstage Entertainment is seeking a detail-oriented, entertainment-minded intern to assist with the daily "engine room" of our talent management operations. This is a remote position designed for a student who wants to understand the business logic behind the casting process. You will work directly with the principal to support a dedicated roster of US-based actors, ensuring their materials are effectively positioned for every opportunity.
Primary Responsibilities:
Roster Study: Learn the unique strengths and branding of each actor on the Upstage list to ensure accurate submissions.
Breakdown Analysis: Review daily postings on Breakdown Express and Casting Networks to identify specific matches for our roster.
Submission Curation: Help select the most effective headshots and reel clips tailored to specific role requirements.
Professional Pitching: Draft concise, professional pitches to Casting Directors that highlight a talent’s "type" and specific experience.
Your draft submission proposals will then be reviewed and submitted by the principal.
Qualifications:
A person who understands character types and industry trends.
Ruthless attention to detail. (You understand that a missed instruction is a missed opportunity).
Strong written communication skills.
A desire to pursue a career in Talent Management, Agency work, or Casting.
Hours: 10-15 hours per week (Flexible) Start Date: January 26, 2026 (Flexible)
