Company Description
Up High is a comedy-centric social media agency working with some of the most recognized names/faces in stand-up comedy. We are looking for detail oriented, highly motivated & simply put, the best of the best. Think you got what it takes? Read this entire job description before applying. (If you don't, we'll know. Trust us!)
Role Description
This is a remote role for a Social Media Manager. If you're familiar with the industry (and if you're the right fit for the job, you should be) you know this is the FURTHEST from a ''9 to 5'' job. This job functions around the clock. You'll be working directly with the talent & their team, discussing strategy & objectives surrounding initiatives such as touring, podcasts, books, personal appearances, press, merch & more. You'll take those initiatives and curate a unique social media / digital plan. And then, you'll work with the talent, their team & yours/ours to execute. You're the swiss army knife of digital. You're the strategist, the producer, the editor, the graphic designer, the community manager & the therapist. That's right, I said therapist. Our relationships with our clients are one of a kind. Not only are we more in-tune with their career than some of their other team members, we also know their shoe size, coffee order and when their pet's birthday is. If the artist isn't comfortable confiding in you with the intimate details of their life, you're doing something wrong and you're not a good fit for us. Still with us? Here's the detail oriented part we were talking about above. When applying, please tell us in the first sentence who your favorite comedian is.
Qualifications
Social Media Marketing, Communication, and Content Strategy skills
Obsessive Knowledge of all social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, Tiktok, Reddit, YouTube, etc)
A 24/7 Work-Ethic -- you don't mind getting emails/texts at all hours and are capable and confident answering. In our business, we answers in seconds, not minutes. Keep up or move on.
Expert in video editing & Graphic Design (we're talking Adobe, not just CapCut or Canva)
Videography & Production experience a HUGE plus (light travel to record BTS on site is often required)
Minimum 3 years of experience in social media management, specifically in entertainment artists (music, actors, etc), but ideally in comedy.
ALWAYS looking to innovate and challenge yourself and your peers. We run a very fun and HIGHLY COMPETITIVE team.
Still interested? GREAT! Last detail. Email me your resume, and in the SUBJECT LINE of the email put your name & include your favorite comedian is. ALSO please include a link to a sample graphic and video you've created. If you dont... we aren't even going to open the email.
Additional Information
This job has opportunities to travel and work on-site directly with artists from time to time. We are a super fun group, very initimate/dynamite team that is looking to expand. We're at a pinnacle growth point and only looking for serious rockstars that are the best of the best.
