Digital Content Specialist / Digital Cinema

UKN Post is looking to add a Lead DCP Technician to our team. Applicant should be a jack of all trades who is friendly, presentable, well-spoken, punctual, and has a very strong technical background.

The ideal candidate will have a Post-Production background with experience working with digital editing and/or color software (Resolve, Avid, Premier, Clipster, etc.) and have an aptitude for learning new systems and software. The job requires working with high-end clients in a fast-paced, highly technical environment. You will need to be able to troubleshoot software or hardware issues, have excellent time management, stay calm under pressure, work unsupervised, and be detail-oriented. As a Lead Tech, you will also be responsible for researching new software/hardware/workflows, maintenance of current systems, pre-job tech calls with clients, managing multiple locations, and being the point of contact for anything technical.

This is a full-time position that requires some late nights and weekends. Pay is commensurate with skill and aptitude and ranges from $70k to $175k

Requirements
Proficient with Mac OS, Windows, and Linux
Problem solver with a creative and innovative approach and the ability to think outside the box
Excellent communication skills
Passionate about quality and customer service excellence
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and sensitive information
Ability to prioritize and manage processes to achieve deadlines whilst producing quality work
Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
Ability and willingness to learn new methods, procedures, or techniques and take on new tasks
Drivers license
Ability to lift and move large or heavy objects
Ability to work some nights and weekends
Helpful
Experience with transcoding/encoding, sound syncing, and color conversion
Solid knowledge of film & digital file formats
Working knowledge of post-production software like DVS Clipster, Colorfront Transkoder, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premier, and Avid
Experience in a post-production finishing environment
