Job Title: Network Research Analyst
Function. The position is responsible for analyzing Arbitron PPM rating information and PPM tools for 16 Univision Radio markets including Los Angeles. This position reports to and works in conjunction with the PPLM Network Regional Program Director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate reports to track performance insights derived from analyzing both Arbitron PPM rating information tools and resource
- Utilize Arbitron, Media Monitors, XTrends and PD Advantage software for regular analysis of weekly and monthly ratings information for programming usage
- At the direction of the PPLM Regional Program Director will analyze data and present research findings
- At the direction of the PPLM Regional Program Director, analyst will provide competition analysis, create show clocks and provide researched segment comparisons as requested
- Participate in show meetings regarding show performance and competitive analysis sessions
- Gather any necessary related data on competitive content, segments, commercial loads, promotional inventory for analysis and provide recommendations based on findings
- Conduct in-depth data analysis using traditional and advanced methods
- In conjunction with the PPLM Regional Program Director, create presentations for sales and affiliate relations
Minimum Qualifications for Consideration - Experience and Education - Necessary
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required. Microsoft Office and Outlook proficiency, Trends, PPM Analysis Tools.
- Bachelors or advanced degree in business, mathematics, or the sciences.
- Minimum 3 years radio or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year PPM exposure and analysis experience.
- Experience in similar position for 1-3 years
- Requires strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Requires some knowledge of the Hispanic format, community and traditions
- Must be PC proficient - Word, Excel and Outlook software packages
- Experience and knowledge of PD Advantage, XTrends, Media Monitors and Arbitron software
