At UTA, you'll play an essential role in ensuring the effective and seamless integration for workload optimization, query optimization and high performing distributed query execution. While dealing with the fast-paced development and operational process, we strive for world-class tooling, automation and infrastructure to further advance our SaaS platform.
The salary range for this role is $270,000 to $300,000 commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do
• Setting the IT Infrastructure Architecture vision, goals, strategic plan, and objectives and key results (OKRs).
• Establishing and communicating metrics to ensure and demonstrate how the System Infrastructure Architecture strategy is delivering business value.
• Developing and Implementing System Infrastructure Architecture principles and standards including a common framework of artifacts produced for infrastructure designs.
• Providing a consistent, transparent view of existing and future capability roadmaps.
• Aligning tools and technologies that underpin specific business area needs (i.e., continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines, testing, monitoring, security).
• Actively collaborate across the System Architecture community, including embracing the standards, principles and tools established by Enterprise Architecture
• Lead and participate on several architectural groups responsible for developing common patterns and setting technology direction that aligns to business demand and needs.
What You Will Need
• Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
• 10+ years of executive leadership experience in a demanding environment, including experience in setting the strategic direction, being accountable for and delivering results and business value in, aligning programs with the organization's strategic direction, and focusing on continuous improvement efforts within a complex IT organization.
• Experience with architectural frameworks and processes (TOGAF, Zachman,etc)
• Experience managing other leaders and IT professional staff and creating engaging, inclusive, and motivating work environment.
• Working knowledge of, and experience with Product Management and Agile Methodologies.
• Expertise in relationship management and an exemplary ability to manage stakeholder expectations through clear and transparent communications.
• Learning mindset geared toward innovation and creativity for applying technology capabilities in new ways, necessary for both the delivery of effective technology and business solutions.
