UTA seeks a Research Associate to join its Cultural Insights team. This team is dedicated to uncovering consumer attitudes and behaviors and developing strategic analysis to provide actionable insights for UTA's celebrity and brand clients. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a keen eye for detail, a natural curiosity for understanding the 'why,' and an enthusiasm for market research. While prior experience in consumer survey analysis is preferred, we are open to individuals who are eager to learn and focus on this domain. Proficiency in Excel is a plus, as you will be responsible for cleaning and presenting data with accuracy and clarity. In collaboration with the Research Manager, to whom this position reports, this person will play a pivotal role in implementing best practices in data analysis and research methodologies across the IQ team. Your responsibilities will include analyzing survey data, creating visually engaging presentations, and leveraging various data tools to extract insights on social media performance and audience behaviors. Additionally, you will help with the coordination of UTA's new agency data training program (ADAPT).
The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $75,000 commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do
• Conduct data accuracy checks on IQ reports to ensure analysis integrity and calculation precision
• Collaborate on writing, programming, and analyzing large-scale consumer surveys
• Utilize Excel to analyze survey results and create customized data tables
• Translate data into visually compelling presentations using a variety of graphs and infographic formats
• Utilize third-party and UTA-created data tools to extract insights on social media performance and audience behaviors
• Manage scheduling, RSVPs, and note-taking for UTA's ADAPT program
• Project manage IQ's thought leadership studies and provide analytical support as needed
What You Will Need
• 2+ years of experience in a research, insights, or analytics role
• A passion for data and the ability to craft narratives around numerical insights
• Proficiency in Excel, including basic mathematical functions, formatting, and pivot tables
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written communication and editing abilities
• Enthusiasm for the entertainment industry and cultural trends
