Representative, Production Client Payments

This is a Full Time Job

UTA is seeking a Representative, Production Client Payments, who will be the face of our production department for client payment inquiries and reassuring clients to receive payments in a timely manner. It is essential to be an effective communicator, proactive and can maintain professionalism when dealing with clients. They will be a direct link between clients and the agents, and will need to keep the agents informed of any potential client payment issues. This person will work closely with the UTA accounting reps assigned to our department.

The hourly pay rate for this role is $25-$26 commensurate with experience and skills.

What You Will Do
• Handle client onboarding for feature and television projects that include filling out paperwork and learning deal terms.
• Notify clients of their paperwork have been submitted.
• Confirm with payroll the first check has been released and inform the clients the status of the first check.
• Track all payments and invoices.
• Submit invoice requests to accounting to facilitate timely and accurate invoicing for our clients.
• Create and manage a system to follow up on unpaid invoices in a timely manner.
• Notify clients of an outstanding invoices and let them know we've followed up.
• Review the weekly Opal reports to see if current working clients were not paid that week.
• Follow up with payroll and let the client know we are reaching out in regards to the missing payment and confirm when it's actually sent.
• Submit timecards for clients as needed.
• Respond timely to client inquiries and ensuring they are resolved.
• Answer client inquiries regarding incorrect payments, missing payments, and other payment issues, and follow-up regularly until the issues are resolved.
• They should be Cc'd on all ACH wire and paystub notifications that go out from accounting as many client inquiries originate from those emails.
• Manage the Production Payment Tracking email inbox.

What You Will Have
• 1+ years of general accounting experience and/or banking experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
• Experience with financial & enterprise systems such as NetSuite preferred
• Entertainment experience a plus
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written
• Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently but also collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
• Prior experience in a customer service focused role a plus
