MediaLink is looking for an Associate to join our London-based team that advises the world's most important and influential companies in media and marketing today.
In the exciting new role as an Associate, you will support market research, situation analysis through quantitative and qualitative means and contribute your perspective on how our clients learn, grow, and transform in their respective sectors. Associates play a pivotal role in the management and success of our client engagements and apply analytical thinking and experience-based judgment to complex challenges by focusing on the critical issues, opportunities, and constraints that impact business performance.
Associates are most often staffed across multiple clients or engagements, actively supporting MediaLink teams as they advise clients, develop strategic insights, and implement key recommendations. Across all your staffing assignments, you will connect themes and insights for the benefit of all clients and help build a centralized body of knowledge and industry perspective.
MediaLink is part of United Talent Agency, and the role also requires strong internal connectivity and managing a matrixed environment and multiple stakeholders to help achieve client goals.

Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Project Management
• Drive day-to-day project management (both internal and external) across several client engagements or workstreams
• Action follow-ups for timetable of tasks to reach scope of work objectives
• Monitor weekly to-do's and take proactive measures to set the team and engagement up for success
• Support the creation and development of client deliverables based on guidance of engagement lead such as marketplace analysis, client benchmarking and stakeholder discovery and analysis
Research & Analysis
• Gather, analyze and synthesize research to assist in the identification of client problems and the development of client specific solutions
• Conduct market and company analyses, strategic diligence, and competitive benchmarking on key business issues in marketing, media, advertising, and technology
• Support stakeholder and diligence efforts by connecting concepts and opportunities into clear takeaways and recommendations
• Assess new businesses and revenue opportunities, and assist with the development and execution of market sizing, business and investment cases, capability assessments, and change management plans
Communication & Collaboration
• Communicate effectively across the project team to ensure internal and external messaging are aligned
• Ensure proper and timely escalation of project risk or potential for missed delivery deadlines
• Collaborate with internal teams including UTA and its other divisions to maximize opportunities for the clients
• Work with internal teams to integrate learnings and best practices from related projects
Your Experience
• 2+ years of work experience in media, marketing, advertising, technology and/or entertainment
• Fluency in media/advertising/technology industry terms, players and trends
• Organized with a strong attention to detail
• Flexible to work across time zones on occasion with colleagues based around the world
• Proven analytical skills, experience with qualitative and quantitative research
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills
• Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize
• Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member to deliver objectives
• Limitless intellectual curiosity and general desire to learn, absorb information and trends from colleagues, trade sources and the broader marketing network
