
Marketing Assistant for Speakers

UTA seeks a Marketing Assistant for the Speakers team. Jumpstart your marketing career at UTA Speakers, an industry-leading speaker agency representing world-class talent. You'll support the Marketing Director and the UTA Speakers marketing team across campaign execution, client-asset management, and content operations, while owning high-impact projects from day one-all within a collaborative, fast-paced NYC office.
The salary range for this role is $24 to $30 per hour commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do
• Assist in organizing and maintaining the speaker management queue – tracking new speakers and archived speakers.
• Collect, track, and organize client assets such as press clips, testimonials, bios, headshots, videos, and topics.
• Own the speaker update project queue: Swap headshots, refresh bios, upload new video highlights, and archive outdated content.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Director and the media team to identify speaker clips and support the delivery of polished sizzle reels every month.
• Support our editorial and social media calendar and reduce planning time by mining industry news and trends.
• Assist in drafting and publishing a bi-weekly internal newsletter highlighting speaker news, upcoming/new content, and departmental updates.
• Pitch, pilot, and own new initiatives, whether it's a fresh outreach campaign or an innovative content series, which aligns with marketing objectives.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings on behalf of the Marketing Director and assist with cross-team communications
What You Will Need
• Bachelor's degree – marketing, communications, business or related field preferred
• 1+ years of marketing or communications experience - internship experience welcome
• Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive, creative mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative office environment
• Must be able to work from the NYC office
• Hands-on familiarity with HubSpot Marketing Hub; CMS experience (Contentful nice-to-have)
• Comfort navigating Adobe Suite and Canva, or eagerness to learn
• Portfolio with examples of your marketing impact
