This is a Full Time Job
UTA seeks a Director-level executive to become a key part of its global Communications team. The position will be responsible for creating and executing communications strategies aimed at positioning UTA's businesses in the UK and European marketplace. The Director role will be a leader within a robust, multi-faceted communications team. This executive will be based in our London office and will report into SVP, Communications.
What You Will Do
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• Develop and execute strategies to drive market awareness of UTA's businesses across such areas as music, publishing, film, TV, sports and advisory.
• Serve as a spokesperson and representative of UTA in the UK and European markets.
• Provide creative, out-of-the-box thinking that drives businesses outcomes.
• Expand the public profile of key brand-facing UTA executives among industry audiences, including relationship-building with key industry trades and publications.
• Work closely and collaborate with the global Communications team across time zones and business areas.
What You Will Need
• 8+ years of communications, public relations, or marketing experience either in-house or at an agency, or both.
• Demonstrable experience and knowledge of media relations, strategic communications, and industry events.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
• Experience in creating PR campaigns and shaping narratives that highlight business capabilities.
• Understanding of, and interest in, the entertainment industry – particularly music, entertainment, and sports.
• Capacity to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed, highly collaborative environment.
