Are you passionate about the power of live performance and driven to champion comedic voices?
Applications are now open for United Talent Agency's (UTA) Comedy Touring Agent Training Program in our Los Angeles and New York offices. The deadline to apply is June 12, 2026, for our Winter 2027 classes starting in January.
If you are an early career candidate eager to build a meaningful career supporting comedians and live shows, we want to hear from you!
Hands-On Experience:
As a trainee, you will work directly with veteran Agents and Executives on every part of the touring process: booking, ticketing, marketing, and career strategy. Expect to engage in real projects that shape tours, fill venues, and bring comedy to communities across the country.
Exclusive Learning Opportunities:
Through UTA University, you will take classes tailored to the industry. You will learn from the best and develop business and creative skills needed for success in live entertainment and comedy.
Collaborate with Industry Leaders:
Join a welcoming, innovative, and supportive community. At UTA, trainees gain meaningful exposure to key industry players, build lasting relationships, and work in an environment that values collaboration, inclusion, and creativity.
What We’re Looking For:
• Passion for Comedy and Live Shows: You love stand-up, sketch, podcasts, and all forms of live comedic performance and want to help others experience them.
• Relevant Experience: Previous booking experience preferred, whether in a professional environment or on campus. Experience serving on a student activities board is desired.
• Creative Problem-Solving: You think outside the box and are excited to tackle challenges in new and innovative ways.
