Full Job Description
Comedy Tour Marketing Executive – Nashville Office (R4227)
What You Will Do
• Create marketing plans including advertising, promotions, publicity, and social media for shows and tours
• Be responsible for domestic and international tour marketing
• Manage the marketing budget for each tour and show
• Work with clients, managers, social media teams, publicists, production houses, and others to oversee the execution of tour launches including timelines, deliverables, strategy, and marketing plans
• Act as the liaison between client teams and promoter/venues
• Analyze ticketing data including audits, zip reports, scaling/hold maps, and sales trends to assess price resistance, manage discounting strategies, and optimize geographic allocation of marketing spend
• Approve all marketing deliverables including but not limited to ad plans, localized assets, promotional proposals, and ticket headers based on artist brand identity and demographics, industry trends, and campaign performance metrics
• Stay current on industry trends and benchmarks, competitor activity, and emerging marketing tools
What You Will Need
• 3+ years of progressive marketing experience in the entertainment industry – ideally in Comedy live touring, with experience in marketing at a promoter strongly preferred
• Must be a passionate comedy fan with broad knowledge of current and emerging talent
• Ability to work and communicate professionally, verbally, and in written form with internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated customer service excellence
• Proficiency with the latest marketing tools and best practices across a wide range of new + traditional media, social + digital strategy, emerging platforms, etc.
• Creative thinker with thorough knowledge of how to analyze cross-platform data and insights to inform marketing strategy
