Klutch Sports’ Sports & Brand Insights group seeks a Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing valuation and insights new business opportunities across brands and rights holders. This individual will be responsible for leading outbound efforts, cultivating relationships, and crafting tailored pitches to expand our client base. Ideal candidates will have a consultative approach, a sharp understanding of commercial partnerships (sponsorship and endorsements), experience selling valuation and / or insights solutions, and a track record of driving new business.
In this front-facing role, you’ll operate in a high-growth, collaborative environment with access to best-in-class analysts and tools to support your sales and strategy efforts. You’ll gain exposure to leading brands and rights holders across sports and entertainment, contribute to shaping go-to-market strategy, and build your career.
What You Will Do
• Source and secure new business opportunities through strategic outreach, referrals, and network development
• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline with a focus on strategic, long-term partnerships
• Own the full business development lifecycle, including pipeline generation, proposal writing, pitch delivery, and onboarding
• Partner with internal teams to develop RFP responses, pitch materials, and data-driven proposals
• Monitor emerging market trends and category shifts to identify white space and inform sales and outreach strategy
• Cultivate and maintain long-term client and partner relationships to drive recurring revenue opportunities
• Represent the company in external meetings, industry events, and key stakeholder presentations
• Ability to work cross functional across complementary departments
• Maintain CRM tracking and provide accurate reporting on sales activity and revenue projections
What You Will Need
• 5 years of experience in business development, insights, partnerships, consulting, or brand strategy
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot
• Proven success sourcing, pitching, and closing new business opportunities
• Strong understanding of the sponsorship, media, and brand marketing ecosystem
• Established network of relationships across brands and rights holders across sports and entertainment
• Skilled in relationship-building and stakeholder management, both internally and externally
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; adept at translating complex insights into clear, actionable value propositions
• Experience with pitch development and solution selling
• Highly organized, self-starter with strong time management and multitasking ability
