SOP Associate, Finance Sales Operations

UTA seeks an experienced Sales Operations (SOP) Associate to join its Finance team. The SOP Associate will be assigned to a UTA department and serve as the primary accounting contact for that department. This role involves entering client bookings, overseeing financial data, and managing 1-2 direct reports.
Responsibilities:
• Meet with agents (1-2 times per month) and their assistants (weekly) to ensure accurate and complete booking data.
• Oversee 1-2 direct reports, ensuring client payments are processed correctly and comply with legal and tax requirements.
• Manage invoicing, statements, tax matters, and account inquiries for agents and clients.
• Enter and maintain client bookings, ensuring compliance with revenue recognition standards.
• Collaborate with other companies, the Cash Management team, and agents to resolve booking and payment details.
• Provide regular reporting to agents for forecasting, collections, and insights.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the client booking system.
• Build and maintain long-term, confidential relationships with agents and clients.
• Assist with ad hoc requests as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required (preferred in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field).
• Minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the entertainment industry.
• Prior experience in customer service roles is advantageous.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
