UTA is looking for an Assistant in the IQ department, supporting the Vice President of Talent Strategy . IQ is the client strategy and data division of UTA and is focused on developing insights and analyzing cultural trends to help propel forward client careers. The talent strategy team specifically works closely with talent across all verticals – music, television, film, digital, publishing, etc – to grow their online footprint, leverage their platforms to create cultural impact, and analyze their social media data to secure more lucrative financial opportunities.
The ideal candidate for this position is a strategic thinker, enjoys research, is passionate about social media and the creator economy, is comfortable providing general administrative support and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have the ability to proactively function under tight deadlines in a fast-paced working environment as well as experience managing daily schedules / calendars. Qualified candidates must have precise, detailed-oriented organizational skills, as well as excellent communication and writing abilities. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, hardworking, detail-oriented team player who is confident working in a highly collaborative environment and shows enthusiasm for the entertainment industry.
This is a full-time position with benefits and will pay $23.00 per hour.
What You'll Do
• Manage phone, calendar, and research for meetings
• Maintain call notes, tracking lists, spreadsheets, etc.
• Liaise with internal staff at all levels and external clients & partners
• Assist in preparation of strategy decks and deliverables for both internal and external use
• Support research efforts on industry trends around the ever-changing social media, creator economy, and entertainment landscape
• Handle client support and technical requests across the major social media platforms
What You Need
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred but not required
• Experience with an entertainment company, preferred
• Understanding of social media platforms and the creator economy landscape
• Interest in extracting insights from basic data tools, as well as in processing data and drawing insightful conclusions from it
• Highly professional with excellent judgment and communication skills
• Can-do, positive attitude and willing to ''go the extra mile''
• Proactive nature with the a bility to anticipate needs, prepare in advance and act ahead instead of simply reacting to circumstances
• Capable of managing several projects simultaneously
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly intense client service work environment
• Knowledge and curiosity for key players throughout the entertainment industry
• Understanding of UTA's Client Roster
• Highly proficient technical skills with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with video conferencing systems (Zoom, Slack, Concur, and Workday)
