United Artists Releasing, a Joint Venture between Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM) and Annapurna Pictures (Annapurna), is a U.S. theatrical releasing company. Built upon the legacy of the iconic United Artists motion picture studio, the joint venture provides a home where filmmakers are supported by thoughtful approaches to marketing, publicity, and distribution. United Artists Releasing offers content creators an alternative distribution option outside of the studio system and supports Annapurna and MGM's film slates as well as the films of third-party filmmakers.

The Digital Creative Strategy team at United Artists Releasing is responsible for being digital platform experts within the organization, applying the overall strategies of our films to the mobile-social landscape in the most innovative way possible.
Social Media Manager, Digital Marketing
Your role will report directly to the VP, Digital Creative Strategy title lead. Your role is to work closely with the team's VP and Director, managing the executions of the social strategy on every aspect of the digital campaign, and to be one of the point persons responsible for Agency relations.
Your responsibilities will include a mix of:
Working with the team VP and Director to create authentic, engaging, fun, creative and groundbreaking social media campaigns that the film's target audience want to engage with.
Creating and maintaining exciting, strategic, purposeful social media campaign calendars
Organizing social media asset development, content calendars and community management.
Clearly communicating creative feedback and direction to agencies and internal stakeholders.
Managing social media and influencer agency partners, their contracts, creative and programs.
Overseeing interesting fan engagement strategies across the social landscape.
Taking the lead in writing up and distributing RFPs for assigned projects.
Creating post-program analysis for social media marketing and influencer campaigns.
Staying ahead of new platform-specific products and opportunities to create buzzworthy social media campaigns.
Contributing to influencer marketing strategies with VP and Director, running point on day-to-day of the influencer campaigns.
Helping create and execute talent and filmmaker support plans, including filmmaker presentation decks, special shoots and custom digital requests.
Creating team ideation/brainstorm docs for campaign initiatives and custom programs.
Overseeing sweepstakes/contest programs, on-site activation social assets, etc.
Working with the team on building experiential campaigns, executions and social extensions.
Overseeing the compliance process with our legal team for all materials.
Managing agency invoicing, billing and payment processes for assigned projects

Qualifications:
3 + years of experience working at an entertainment company, media company, and/or an agency on social media/digital marketing campaigns.
Strong desire and proven ability to push creative boundaries.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to move quickly and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Must be able to cover live events with excitement, ease and a strong creative eye.
Excitement for and understanding of TikTok - from influencers to organic content creation to platform best practices.
A passion for the entertainment industry in general, and film marketing in particular.
