DIRECTOR, IN-THEATER MARKETING & DISTRIBUTION
YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develop and maintain professional relationships with film exhibitors (corporate and operational), vendors, studio partnerships and other industry contact.
Develop, plan and execute in-theatre marketing initiatives including the launch of in-theatre assets, sweepstakes, promotional items, special event, custom displays, talent Q&As and screenings.
Create and send digital updates to exhibitors on material availability of both digital and printed assets (trailers, social media graphics, digital content, one-sheets, bus shelters, standees, etc.) and other updates.
Work with vendors to create custom graphics to support promotional initiatives.
Work with Creative Content to get custom greetings and specialty content to provide exhibitors for placement on their social platforms.
Work with Publicity to have exhibitors included in junkets and other press opportunities.
Work in conjunction with Promotions/Field Publicity to plan and execute Q&As, word-of-mouth and loyalty screenings, run of engagement passes and other special events.
Work in conjunction with digital, digital creative and digital publicity teams to execute exhibitor digital partnerships and digital buys.
Manage day-to-day coordination of circuit promotions including, but not limited to, shipping of prizing, routing of contest rules through legal, coordinate the creating of marketing materials to support the promotions, monitor approval of contest POS and materials.
Distribute trailer links and corresponding placement requests to exhibitors
Assist in gathering and negotiating trailer placement from exhibitors.
Assist in coordinating trailer checking and first show checks, including gathering placement for producers reports.
Assist in gathering materials and creating filmmaker reports.
Work with promotional vendors to create film branded promo items for use in circuit promotions.
Assist in maintaining department email database used for mass communications to exhibitors.
Assist in the creation of eblasts to exhibitors including film format, distribution notices, trailer placement request and updates.
Create PO and process invoices in Intacct.
YOUR BACKGROUND
5 years minimum experience in entertainment/brand marketing; preferably from a studio or exhibition company
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; strong negotiating skills
Exhibition experience preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
