TVGuide com is seeking a talented editor who can conceive, report and write breaking news, features and videos about TV, celebrities and movies. The ideal candidate will have a varied arsenal of story pitches and strong writing skills to execute them. He or she must be comfortable working in a deadline-oriented environment and have the wherewithal to use social media to promote his or her work to a wide audience. We're looking for a pop culture fan who can synthesize sharp, witty commentary within a solid journalistic framework to create informative, entertaining stories. Owing to the around-the-clock nature of pop culture news, some evening and weekend hours will be required.

The ideal candidate must have:

-at least two years of hands-on, deadline-driven online editorial experience, preferably for an entertainment publication
-a strong knowledge of pop culture (TV, celebrities and movies) and a passion for covering it
-the ability to gather reputable news sources and cover a beat
-facility with online publishing systems and the ability to learn and use new technologies
-familiarity with all forms of social media, including Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Pinterest
-experience with and a willingness to appear in videos and on television for TVGuide com
