TVG Network, the official TV and Interactive Wagering Partner of the National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA) and a subsidiary of Betfair Group, LTD, is amongst the most widely distributed horseracing networks in the world. TVG viewers, in certain areas, can wager interactively on races via telephone, the internet, TVG mobile or interactive television by establishing a wagering account.
We are currently seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee all aspects of TVG’s physical environment, based in Los Angeles, CA.
The Facilities Manager is responsible for electrical, HVAC, mechanical, security, parking, construction, modifications, furniture, painting and other related activities. This position plans, budgets, schedules and oversees TVG facility maintenance including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other associated costs, as well as acting as liaison with the Landlord’s management and maintenance teams.
Responsibilities include:
Manage all required electrical work (new installations, modifications and maintenance)
Manage all required HVAC and other mechanical activity in conjunction with Building’s staff (new installations, modifications and maintenance)
Responsibility for all facilities-related documentation, including drawings, charts, spreadsheets, SOPs and other facilities-related documentation
Managing the installation, move, repair, and removal of other office equipment within the TVG’s leased space
Manage, operate and maintain TVG’s security systems
Ensure compliance with, and keeping abreast of, all OSHA and other related government workplace safety regulations
Prepare and execute all periodic maintenance and cleaning schedules
Manage all outside contractors performing facilities work
Support the coordination of space allocation and layout and facility expansion
Oversee parking, access cards, and janitorial services with the Leasing Office
Develop and administer annual budgets
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitudes and an excellent working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills
Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly
Familiarity with local building codes and OSHA regulations
Familiarity with all current health and safety regulations
Strong supervisory skills, coupled with excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work well with ever-changing priorities and/or situations
Excellent personal computer skills and working knowledge of common productivity applications (Word, Excel, Project, Visio)
Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels within and outside of the organization
Experience/Training/Education/Certification
Bachelor’s or Associates degree with technical training in plant engineering, or equivalent facility maintenance
Five + years of progressive experience and responsibility in a facility maintenance field, two of which were holding a supervisory position directing a multi-functional maintenance staff
Extensive training in safety; facilities management; project management
