This is a Full Time Job
The Deko Operator is responsible for working in a real-time, high-pressure graphics, information and wagering environment. Will work with the font coordinator and Producer to insure all graphics are accurate and conform to the network’s look and standards.
Essential Functions
• Pre-build graphics on Deko’s for live shows
• Design templates for graphics to be used on-air
• Quality control graphic “look”
• Spell and fact checking graphics
• Operate Deko during live shows
Qualifications • High school diploma or GED
• Associate’s degree or higher from accredited university strongly preferred
• Two to three years graphics experience
• Three (3) or more years Deko experience with live television
• Availability for variable work shifts
• Horse racing knowledge a plus
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure/time constraints
Experience/Training/Education/Certification
• Experience with Photoshop
• Experience in design and creation of templates
• Able to troubleshoot issues with Deko application
