Part Time Paid Internship
The Team
The Entertainment Marketing Social Media team is an award winning department that is responsible for the management, supervision and production of advertising and media campaigns that deliver tune-in/ratings and establishes TNT, TBS and TruTV as preeminent television brands. This team is tasked to take a lead role in establishing innovative social & digital initiatives for marketing campaign, seeking new audiences and promotional platforms; and ensuring messaging and promotion cut through a very cluttered universe. We're the home for original, creator-driven drama and comedy series with a distinct point of view. You'll find our fans on binge marathons or watching clips from our network's growing roster of critically acclaimed premium scripted, non-scripted and live events. Ultimately, success for the social marketing team is creating and implementing consistently innovative and superior marketing campaigns that support network brands and/or specific programming initiatives.
The Job
This isn't a fetching coffee and do-your-homework type of internship. We want you to jump right in and be a part of our team from day one by brainstorming campaigns, sharing your ideas, writing editorial calendars, scheduling content and reporting the results. We're looking for someone who knows that story is more important than the medium and has an interest in the "what and why" of consumer behavior across channels.
Duties/Learning Objectives:
• Help concept and execute campaigns, including planning, deployment and reporting
• Work with our brand marketing, PR and Brand Creative teams to bring campaigns to life
• Draft editorial calendars and schedule posts
• Creative support, such as Instagram stories, TikTok videos and fun memes
• Conduct market research
The Essentials
Are you socially savvy? Do you have a wide interest in all things digital and how social media plays a role in telling a brand's story?
• Candidates should have a presence on social media platforms with a proficient knowledge of social media platforms.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively as a team member
• Ability to communicate at all levels internally/externally by phone, email, or face to face
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• A positive attitude with good organizational skills
• An interest in the learning more about the entertainment industry

Spring 2020 program dates are January 13th through April 17th. Interns are paid a competitive-wage based on location and relocation is not provided. Participation in the internship program is reserved for students who are currently enrolled or within 6 months post-graduation. Most positions are targeted to upperclassmen and graduate students.
