We are currently recruiting a Programming & Acquisitions (General Entertainment Channels) Intern to join the Programming & Acquisitions team in Paris.
In Europe, Middle East and Africa, Turner currently broadcasts 69 channels in 20 languages to 125 countries. It is headquartered in London and operates local offices across the region. The brand portfolio includes EMEA's number one international news brand CNN International as well as Turner's leading kids brands, Cartoon Network – home of global hit animation series such as The Amazing World of Gumball and Boomerang, featuring timeless classics such as Scooby-Doo, Tom & Jerry and Looney Tunes.
As Programming & Acquisitions Intern, you will be supporting the Programming & Acquisitions team in various tasks for both TCM Cinema and WarnerTV channels. Responsibilities will include preparing documents for ratings analysis, evaluating projects and content, and tracking of potential acquisitions just to name a few!
What you'll be doing:
Programming:
• Preparing documents for ratings analysis
• Benchmarking of competitor's grids, on-air branding and nonlinear services
• Writing documents to present content
• Assisting with administrative tasks on programming software
Acquisitions & Programs:
• Helping on evaluation of projects and content
• Assisting with administrative tasks relating to acquisitions
• Tracking of potential acquisitions
• Organizing meetings and market agendas
What we're looking for:
Essential Criteria:
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work efficiently within deadlines in a team environment
• Dynamic and motivated
• Strong English language skills
• Good knowledge of common business software (Excel, Word)
• Strong knowledge of cinema and TV series
Desirable Criteria:
• Education in Media Management
