Full Time Job
You'll be working with a small team of other artists doing general visual effects work to complete a project, mainly in film and television. Each artist is assigned a number of shots based on skill level, preference, and deadlines. We work mainly in After Effects and the majority of work will be 2D compositing/effects. Must be detail-oriented with the understanding of natural physics, lighting, and focus to make effects look seamless. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is preferred as we are looking for someone to be able to communicate with our artists in China but not a deal breaker. Ability to take direction and not be afraid to think outside the box to find creative solutions in making a shot look realistic while achieving the project's artistic vision. Need to have a team player mentality with a ''get it done'' attitude. Must manage and organize your own work to meet all deadlines with the ability to adapt if changes occur. Communication is key. Must be able to communicate and discern possible obstacles that could hinder the deadline before it becomes a problem. The right candidate will have mastered foundational VFX basics (rotoscoping, tracking, painting, greenscreen keying and compositing, etc.) We also want someone excited to learn and develop new techniques and skills. Proficiency in motion graphics and animation a plus.
Please provide a cover letter, resume, and reel.
Salary commensurate with experience. Full benefits.
