Tuff City Records is an independent record label in midtown Manhattan. We are hiring a sales manager.
Required:
Must have 3 years music business experience.
Ability to sell records via phone (a big plus), in person and digitally to end users, retailers and wholesalers, both in America and the rest of the world.
Applicants must be able to work on site: West 50th Street.
A cover letter must be submitted to be considered.
Pay commensurate with experience.

Tuff City Records began in 1982 as one of the earliest hip-hop labels in New York and has since branched out to represent music of nearly all genres from the 1940's to the mid 1990's. We specialize in rare and re-released.
As a veteran company, rich with copyrights and other intellectual property, we execute a steady stream of third-party licenses for all kinds of media - from the usual TV and film deals to superstar merchandise deals. We share copyrights with major labels that are many times our size. We also release a select but ongoing flow of vinyl releases and a more regular flow of digital releases to streaming platforms.
