How do I hire an Intern - Podcast Producer? Brand Overview:
Truth Be Told is a live 1-hour radio/webtv show with myself, and my co-host Captain Ron. We seek answers from the world's leading experts in the field of science, technology, UFO investigations, the paranormal, as well as historical controversies and figures in history.
Role Details:
The position will be responsible for the production of Truth Be Told national podcasts and will be working closely with providing technical guidance and overall quality control. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable getting involved in the creative process for the shows they working on, providing feedback on show outlines and performance notes for on-air talent, and being involved in the ideation process for creating new shows. You will also play a role in the social distribution strategies of our podcast network to reach new audiences and keep Truth Be Told at the digital forefront of the audio space.
Your Day-to-Day:
Record, edit, and publish national podcast produced out of the Truth Be Told office.
Work with our Hosts providing technical guidance and oversight.
Coordinate with Truth Be Told editorial on social/distribution strategies for each show.
QUALIFICATIONS:
What you bring to the team:
You have - Minimum 1-2 years in audio-on-demand, radio or TV production
Must have expertise in Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, or comparable audio editing software
have a interest in Paranormal, Conspiracy Theory and Historical Controversal Events.
Proven ability to learn quickly, work independently, and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to work flexible hours and will also need to be available on seasonal weekends to help turnaround audio sent in from the field.
You might also have - Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with experience working with talent and production members
Good organizational skills
