Fall Intern - Film Distribution

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Are you interested in the Film and TV distribution side of the entertainment industry? Do you want to learn how films are acquired, sold, licensed, and distributed to audiences around the world? We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Distribution Intern.

Internship Session: Fall Semester 2026
Internship Duration: August 31st - November 20th
Time/Days Required: 10a-6p; 3 days a week
Salary/Benefits: Unpaid Internship for College/University Credit Only

Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day operations and administrative tasks related to film distribution
- Work closely with the Head of Distribution Strategy and the Head of Content Operations on ongoing projects and initiatives
- Research and assist with outreach to SVOD, AVOD, and TVOD platforms worldwide
- Assist with platform licensing, sales materials, and other business documentation
- Complete film coverage and research for our Acquisitions team
- Help prepare materials and conduct research for film markets, festivals, and other industry events
- Maintain and organize title, sales, and distribution information
- Other various distribution, business operations, and office tasks

Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Film, Entertainment Business, or a related field
- Strong interest in film distribution, sales, acquisitions, or the business side of the entertainment industry
- Strong research, organizational, and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate information
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, and other business tools
- Able to work on-site 3 days a week
