Position: Freelance Director/Producer
THE ROLE
TAD is currently seeking an eager and exceptional Director/producer to create a piece of digital giveback content around the Thanksgiving Season, this could turn into more full-time/contract work with success. This role requires superior attention to detail, knowledge of the digital space and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities include:
Understand the nuts and bolts of production. Participate in all aspects of pre, production, and post from budget and casting to production issues in the field from to final delivery on assigned shows and projects.
Plan segments, line produce, and manage budget.
Manage relationships with talent and key partners.
Partner with Advertising and Marketing on brand integrations.
Pay close attention to metrics for assigned shows and use data to drive content improvement.
Write and pitch pilot proposals for new categories, formats, and concepts.
Invent on and simplify our production processes and implement features.
Basic Qualifications
A proven track record of producing/directing digital content, either as an independent consultant or within a production company, TV network and/or film studio.
4-5 years of experience in a creative role understanding consumer trends and creating content.
Strong working relationships with the creative community - network of producers, writers and creators.
Strong capability to manage a production budget and schedule.
Ability to adapt to a quickly changing, fast-paced environment.
Excellent relationship management, organizational skills, and both creative and business judgement.
Strong writing and excellent communication skills are essential. Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and outside parties.
Creative, frugal approach to problem solving.
Preferred Qualifications
An interest in the future of the digital, social, and influencer worlds; familiarity with the online visual media environment as well as the entertainment industry.
