-How to communicate insights clearly and professionally in an industry setting
-Resume + cover letter support from our senior staff toward the end of the program
Ideal Candidates Will
-Have a passion for identifying new voices and emerging talent
-Possess an acute understanding of music and music genres
-Have a deep interest in music trends, analytics, and artist marketability
-Enjoy researching artists through Spotify, social media, and live shows
-Be organized, detail-oriented, and consistent with deadlines
-Engage positively in open feedback and team collaboration
Intern Responsibilities Include
-Researching and identifying promising new artists via social media, live shows, and Spotify research
-Reviewing incoming artist submissions through our website, TikTok, and Instagram
-Tracking discoveries and providing brief written summaries on sound, genre, and momentum
Important Notices
-Internship is three days per week, in-office at the TREND Building (Tues/Weds/Thurs, 9:00am-5:30pm) in Hollywood
-Candidates must receive school credit
-Three-month minimum commitment required
-Applicants must have completed at least one year of college
