The Role

We're looking for someone with at least 2 years of professional experience who can own the client relationship from day one. You'll be the person our artists turn to for strategy, campaign direction, and results.
You should be comfortable leading client calls, building social media strategies from the ground up, interpreting analytics to adjust course, and managing multiple campaigns simultaneously. If you can look at an artist's social presence and immediately see what's working, what's not, and what to do next, this role is for you. You must have an intimate understanding of TikTok and IG Reel trends on a daily basis.
You'll work closely with our Content Managers who handle content creation and creative direction, so this isn't a design or video editing role. To be clear: you will not be creating visual content. We have a dedicated creative team for that. We're looking for someone who can think strategically, communicate clearly, and drive results. Your focus is on strategy, client communication, campaign performance, and making sure every account hits its goals. This position is overseen by our Director of Publicity and ultimately reports to our President.
Your Day-to-Day

• Interacting directly with clients and maintaining strong professional relationships
• Managing several social media marketing campaigns simultaneously across platforms
• Strategizing and collaborating with our in-house PR team and Content Managers
• Stay ahead of platform trends, emerging formats, and cultural conversations, and act quickly to capitalize on them
• Write compelling, platform-specific copy that grabs attention and drives engagement
• Manage the social calendar and coordinate daily publishing, ensuring strong attention to brand voice and accuracy
• Researching, monitoring, and securing real, organic growth using out-of-the-box thinking and trending topics
• Tracking campaign performance, analyzing metrics, and delivering monthly reports to clients
• Allocating tasks to junior staff and interns
• Oversee TREND's TikTok and IG accounts
Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in social media management and digital marketing. We must be able to see the work you have done on current or previous clients' social media accounts.
• Experience analyzing social media metrics and translating data into actionable campaign strategies
• Ability and passion for working as a team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Exceptional attention to detail, particularly with client communications and campaign reporting
• Must be able to professionally communicate with clients, TREND team members, and industry professionals
• Must be able to work from our LA office Tuesday through Thursday
