General Summary:
We are looking for a conceptual creative that can partner with Account and Strategy to win social pitches, and plus-up social in broader 360 all-agency pitches. You will mentor design talent to elevate their work, foster creative culture within the social team, and lead the creation of ''big ideas'' and their development across platforms for social opportunities. We are also looking for someone who sees social not as a format, platform or post, but as the way-in to earning more media than a campaign buys.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with Account leads to sell in social work
• Work with Strategy to build from Creative Briefs and identify the conceptual big idea that all tactics & roll out wrap around
• Co-lead social pitches with Account leads
• Manage and mentor social design, including creators of social AV and motion graphics
• Push social opportunities to include material that goes beyond the brief
• Facilitate a creative culture across all disciplines within social: community management, design, and integrated campaigns
• Identify and contribute creative ideas within existing community management accounts
Qualifications:
• 5 years experience in a creative leadership role (at least 3 years digital agency environment with an emphasis on social media design)
• Conceptual thinker with a strong creative portfolio
• Passion for design, new technologies and emerging trends.
• Recognized expertise in social design, including creating social AV and motion graphics
• Advanced experience managing the creative development process in a client-services environment.
• Strong ability to provide clear creative direction and provide timely and helpful feedback to improve creative processes to keep work on budget and schedule.
• Ability to work collaboratively and proactively on multi-functional teams. Open to feedback.
• Strong ability to prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short and long-term needs.
• Proven mentoring, supervisory, and team-building skills.
