Social Copywriter (Freelance-to-Staff) – Gaming Marketing
Job Description:
Mutiny, the gaming-focused integrated creative agency of Trailer Park Group, is looking for a freelance Social Copywriter with experience in gaming marketing. This position involves developing copy and concepts for integrated campaigns supporting one of the largest video game organizations in the world. The role is freelance to start, with the potential to transition into a staff role.
Responsibilities:
• Write and conceptualize campaign-level branding and messaging for integrated gaming campaigns, with a focus on social and digital platforms.
• Collaborate with art directors, strategists, and project managers to develop and plan campaigns.
• Work across various channels and platforms.
• Assist with storyboarding, shot lists, and creative direction.
• Implement feedback from internal teams and clients.
Requirements:
• 6+ years of copywriting experience in an integrated marketing agency setting.
• Proven experience developing campaign-level ideas with a focus on social and digital platforms.
• Strong portfolio showcasing social media copy and attention to detail.
• Passion for gaming, particularly first-person shooters (FPS).
• Ability to shift tone for different audiences across AAA franchises in multiple genres.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple projects under tight deadlines.
