The Senior Producer provides structure and overall vision on client projects. They are ultimately responsible for the successful development of projects, working closely with cross-functional, multi-project team resources to ensure solutions are delivered on-time and on budget according to defined scope, timeline and cost parameters. This individual will interface heavily with senior marketing, technical, and executive management to assure that the solution is understood and addresses the customer's business requirements. As a primary member of the Client Services team, the Senior Producer is responsible for managing larger and more complex client relationships and projects. In addition to the project responsibilities, this person may be a key member of the pre-sales team.
Responsibilities:
• Manages larger complex client relationships and projects and works with the pursuit team to complete RFP's project scoping, sizing and pricing estimates, and acts as the client point-of-contact for all project related issues.
• Develop, maintain and effectively execute project plans throughout the life of assigned project(s) according to established procedures, channels and success expectations
• Create and maintain a project schedule, which defines activities, sequence, dependencies, work effort, duration and associated resource requirements
• Contribute to establishing project vision, plans and acquires appropriately skilled project resources to successfully meet client expectations.
• Develop and maintain all project deliverables including project Charters, budgets, project plans, issues logs, status reports, and change orders etc., and ensures projection completion according to schedule and budget.
• Forecast, track and manage project budgets, POs, invoices and project financials.
• Participates in the development and maintenance of all legal documentation pertaining to clients (e.g. Statements of Work, Change Order Requests, etc.), and ensures all project documentation is produced according to internal documentation processes for approval.
• Contribute to continual process and people management innovation, supporting effective delivery of solutions
• Understand and communicate client business needs to the internal team and to third-party translation vendors
• Negotiate, define, communicate and manage the scope of the project, including the change control process
• Define, negotiate, communicate, implement and monitor quality standards on all project deliverables and manage quality trade-offs.
• Manage client, third-party vendor and internal team performance and dynamics as appropriate
• Plan and manage internal and external project communications, ensuring effective exchange of project information and deliverables
• Identify, analyze, prioritize, mitigate and communicate project risks and represents the team's consensus in all client communications clearly.
• Works in tandem with Business Development and Account Management to help identify new opportunities with clients.
Qualifications:
• Solid understanding of project management methodology including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, perform resource allocations and run team meetings.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and bug tracking software
• Demonstrated ability to assume a leadership role in managing project, departmental and enterprise risks related to projects, systems and business analysis.
• Experience with Project Management and Collaboration tools.
• 3 years working at a digital agency or advertising agency.
• Successful history of client contact including experience in setting and managing client expectations.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycles, web technologies, web development processes and the delivery of solutions with creative and engineering components.
• Experience in strategic planning and execution.
• In addition, ideal candidates will have hands-on integrated marketing experience.
• Experience managing large, multiple projects and diverse teams.
• Working knowledge of internet methodology/software development a plus.
• Experience managing online marketing projects (campaign development, media planning, email marketing).
