We specialize in global content creation, trailers/promotions, and gameplay capture. We combine our creative storytelling expertise with large-scale production resources, uniquely positioning us to create, market, and distribute gaming content for our diverse client portfolio of top gaming development companies and major brands.
We're seeking a Freelance Production Coordinator to work on-site in our Woodland Hills, California office. This role supports resource management and scheduling for our Captures Department.
IMPORTANT CALL-OUTS
• This is a freelance opportunity with the potential to hire staff
• Candidates must be able to start working full-time by June 2nd, 2025
• Dark Burn Creative hires all freelance talent via W2 payroll – 1099 payments not accepted
• This is an on-site role, requiring 100% of your work hours to be at our Woodland Hills offices
• All applicants must be within a reasonable commutable distance to our Woodland Hills office
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Collaborate with Production and Creative teams to create staff plans for game capture projects.
• Create daily capture schedule and own the necessary changes as they arise (ie, call-outs, late client requests, etc).
• Using your best judgment and critical thinking, under the guidance of the Resource Manager, to determine the appropriate resources necessary for competing projects and team scheduling.
• Follow standard procedures to ensure smooth capture processes and update project management tools.
• Work with Capture Support when needed.
• Coordinate requests from other internal teams and ensure follow-ups on action items.
• Document meeting notes and production feedback, and distribute them promptly.
• Communicate regularly with the team on schedule or staffing changes.
ABOUT YOU
• 1 year production experience required
• Experience with Airtable or a similar project management program is a plus
• Previous experience in scheduling and resource coordination is a big plus
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to articulate clear feedback (written and verbal) and ask the right questions for context in said feedback
• Open, honest, and proactive in your communications approach (written and verbal) with the confidence and critical thought to ask difficult questions appropriately
• Strong listening skills and willingness to change course seamlessly & quickly.
Hourly pay range for this position is below.
$22 - $24 USD
