Role
We are seeking a passionate Music Licensing Coordinator to join our team!
Responsibilities
• Manage all aspects of the music licensing process from rate quotes to payment
• Rate quotes
• Confirmation Agreements
• Master/Sync License Agreements
• Invoices
• Record Keeping
• Accounts Receivable
• E-mail/Phone Correspondence with clients (to facilitate the list above)
• Assist the Creative Director with the marketing, publishing, and distribution of our music catalogue
• Work with Accounting department to manage Synchronic’s accounting & bookkeeping
• Attend staff meetings and take responsibility for follow-up actions and special projects as assigned
• Assist with Music Composition and Sound Design as needed
• May help with 3rd party music clearances as needed
Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in Recording Arts, Music Composition, Film, Music Business, Entertainment Law or related field or comparable experience in the field
• Must have experience in the music licensing & publishing industry
• Must have solid knowledge of synchronization, performance, and master rights
• Must have Experience with Google Docs, Excel, Word, and iTunes
• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience with cue sheets a plus
• Background in Music Composition and Sound Design
• Knowledge of Trailer Music and Sound Design a plus
• Knowledge of WordPress a plus
