Dark Burn Creative, a division of Trailer Park Group (TPG) is one of gaming's most prominent and growing entertainment marketing agencies, specializing in global content creation, trailers/promotions, and gameplay capture. We combine our creative storytelling expertise with large-scale production resources, uniquely positioning us to create, market, and distribute gaming content for our diverse client portfolio of top gaming development companies and major brands.
We are looking for an awesome Jr. Art Director for our gaming marketing agency, Dark Burn Creative. This role will work within video games to help create compelling stories for our trailers and coming attractions work.
Our Junior Art Director assists in the creative direction of creative game capture assets for our video gaming clients across the world. We can't wait to learn more about you and how we may do great work together!
PLEASE NOTE: THIS ROLE REQUIRES ON-SITE, FULL TIME WORK IN OUR WOODLAND HILLS, CALIFORNIA OFFICE.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Collaborate with our creative team to develop and execute game capture content for our gaming client campaigns.
• Understand the gameplay mechanics and use your video editing skills to create compelling visual content that showcases the games we’re so passionate about.
• Work with Art Direction leadership to ensure that all game capture content is of the highest quality and aligns with our artistic vision.
• Review and provide feedback on game capture content to ensure it meets our standards of quality.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in gaming, game capture, video editing, and art direction.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our game capture content meets our clients’ needs and requirements.
ABOUT YOU:
• Minimum 2 years in art direction or graphic arts.
• Proven experience in game capture, video editing and post-production.
• Adobe Creative Suite, Maya and Unity expertise.
• Strong understanding of game design and visual storytelling & ideation.
• Great communication skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks with ease, kindness, and a good attitude.
• Passion for video games and an understanding of the gaming industry.

Please note that a job offer for this position will be determined based on many factors, including experience, unique skill set, other qualifications, location, job performance (current employees), and various business and budgetary considerations.
