We are currently hiring for the position of:
THEATRICAL CONTENT COORDINATOR
Reporting to the Senior Technical Production Coordinator, this role entails:
• Verifying the receipt and accuracy of Key Delivery Messages (KDM) for encrypted Digital Cinema Packages (DCP).
• Verifying the integrity of received digital assets for Industry Conference events and transcoding video elements as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Shall include but not be limited to:
• QC and preparation of Industry Conference content for Glenn Gould Studio and related event spaces.
• Provide administrative support to Technical Production Services.
• Review and flag missing or incorrect KDMs for encrypted theatrical content
• Fact checking screening documentation for accuracy of technical and scheduling information
JOB GRADE & SALARY:
• Job Grade 1
• $23/hr
TARGET CONTRACT DATES:
• Aug 18 - Sep 19
WORK LOCATION:
• Office Location: 350 King Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5
• Weekly in-office requirements: Pre-Festival, the working hours are 9am-5pm in the office and will transition to a starting time of mid afternoon during the Festival. Working days will include the weekends during the Festival . There is no opportunity to work from home due to the brevity of this contract position. In extenuating circumstances, there may be the need to physically bring documentation or content on hard drives to festival venues within walking distance.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Experience with Adobe Media Encoder, Adobe Premiere, Apple Keynote and Microsoft Powerpoint.
• Advanced Experience with Google spreadsheets.
