We are currently hiring for the position of:
SENIOR COORDINATOR, LOYALTY & ENGAGEMENT
Reporting to the Manager, Membership Marketing & Sales, the Senior Coordinator of Loyalty & Engagement leads the execution of mass-market Membership and Fundraising marketing campaigns in support of reaching departmental revenue targets. This includes providing input on campaign strategy, copywriting, project management of assets, hands-on deployment, and data-driven reporting and analysis of results. This role contributes to cross-team stewardship and relationship management of TIFF Members and donors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
REVENUE GENERATION
• Develop and deploy mass-market multi-channel Membership and fundraising campaigns (acquisition and retention), with primary focus on email, as well as including social, print, and direct mail touchpoints.
• Track and organize continuous reporting on metrics for performance optimization and learning from data.
• Lead project management and organize various teams (graphic design, web, ticketing operations, etc.) to ensure campaigns are ready on time.
• Hands-on creation of marketing emails, including list generation, segmentation, theme, email building, copywriting, and deployment. Experience with an email marketing platform (such as Mailchimp) is a must. Experience in consumer-facing copywriting is preferred.
• Gather intel and insights from the market to improve our work and contribute new ideas.
• Meet regularly with Visitor Experience and Brand & Media teams to provide campaign updates and support cross-team priorities.
CUSTOMER SERVICE & STEWARDSHIP
• This role will be assigned a select number of high-level Members to steward for requests on key events and ticketing.
• Work with the broader Loyalty & Engagement team to support Member and Donor inquiries by phone, e-mail and in-person when needed.
JOB GRADE & SALARY:
• Job Grade 2
• Job Grade Salary Range/Annually $50,000 - $58,000
TARGET CONTRACT DATES:
• December 9, 2024
WORK LOCATION:
• Office Location: 350 King Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5
• Weekly in-office requirements:
• Minimum 2 days (November to May)
• Minimum 3 days (June to October)
• Festival Office Requirements: Full Time during Festival
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum requirements/qualifications: education, skills, experience
• Post-Secondary degree in marketing, business administration, or similar. A degree in arts administration will be considered but is not required.
• This position requires critical thinking, data-based decision making, a revenue mindset and the ability to prioritize competing demands. The right candidate will demonstrate proactivity in leading their responsibilities while successfully fostering internal/external stakeholder relationships to get buy-in on projects and deliver on sales targets.
• Strong digital skills, including experience with spreadsheets, analysis, graphical tools (e.g. Canva), automations and social media. Hands-on experience with an email marketing platform is necessary, preferably on Mailchimp.
• Previous Membership/Fundraising experience in the arts and an appreciation of film are a plus.
• Consumer marketing experience, and a deep understanding of marketing principles, are an advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and timelines, with an ability to prioritize as necessary.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
• Accountable, ethical, demonstrates exceptional follow-through; ability to respect and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Copywriting experience is preferred.
• Commitment to professional development, AFP Code of Conduct and Donor Bill of Rights.
• Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends during busy periods (e.g. Festival).
• This position requires being in office on a regular basis, per above.
