We are currently hiring for the position of:
COORDINATOR, MARKETING
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing the Coordinator, Marketing will assist in the execution and delivery of a variety of brand, marketing and advertising projects related to Festival 2024, and year-round events at TIFFLightbox.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shall include but not be limited to:
• Coordinating TIFF’s Festival digital signage and in-cinema pre-shows
• Preparing creative campaign and asset briefs for internal creative teams
• Overseeing creation and delivery of campaign assets and internal workflows to ensure timelines and objectives are met
• Supporting the development of promotional, influencer and cultural community partnerships
• Coordinating contests and promotions for TIFF, across TIFF’s contesting platforms and liaising with external partners for execution
• Creating ROE and internal ticketing order requests
• Support asset delivery by coordinating quotes, estimates, specs and asset delivery dates with vendors and internal teams
• Assist with briefing year-round weekly preshow and signage updates, as well as ticker and csXpress showtime refresh
• Organizing the Festival daily sales report into digestible information to help influence marketing decisions
• Build and deploy e-mail campaigns to support Festival awareness and ticket sales campaigns
• Design and deploy audience feedback surveys for key programming initiatives, based on current best practices
• Assist in Festival sales reporting and post-Festival campaign reporting
• Other duties as required
JOB GRADE & SALARY OR RATE OF PAY:
• Job Grade 1
• Job Grade Salary Range/Annually - $45,000-$57,000
TARGET CONTRACT DATES OR START DATE:
• July 8, 2024 to September 23, 2024
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• A post-secondary degree/certificate in marketing, business, or communications (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year marketing experience, with a focus on execution of integrated marketing campaigns
• Previous experience working in an arts & culture and/or film environment is considered an asset
• Previous experience working with cultural community outreach is considered an asset
• Ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders both internal and external (programming, community partners, management, internal departments etc.)
• Excellent written, oral and visual design skills required to communicate marketing campaigns and strategies (within presentations, support decks, meetings etc.)
• Exceptional project management skills, including attention to detail
• Ability to take on new projects and adapt to evolving departmental initiatives
• Proficient knowledge of marketing industry standards including: marketing and advertising collateral, creative display, social media, event branding, direct mail, sizing, delivery, copy, rules, regulations, terms and conditions, etc
• Proficient in Google Suite, MS Office, Trello, Mailchimp, Adobe Photoshop
• Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends
• Strong passion and interest in the film and entertainment industry
• Concentrating for prolonged periods at computer terminals
• Providing service to several people or departments
• Working under many simultaneous deadlines
• Hours and setting: 9am-5pm, Monday thru Friday, some flexibility during Festival, hybrid (3 office days), mostly sitting, regular interruptions
