TIFF - THE MARKET
We are currently hiring for the position of:
BUSINESS ANALYST / CHANGE MANAGER
TIFF: The Market is undertaking a multi-system digital transformation program affecting audience-facing and internal operational platforms. This contract role embeds within the Digital Transformation team to ensure that technology implementations are delivered with clearly defined requirements, and that impacted staff can independently operate new systems before the contract concludes.
The Business Analyst/Change Manager will be the sole analyst and change resource on the program, working alongside vendor delivery teams across several concurrent workstreams including Salesforce CRM, collaboration and productivity tools, an event management system, an attendee-facing web/mobile application, and a registration portal.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Elicit, document, and validate business requirements across all five implementation workstreams, working directly with internal stakeholders and vendor teams to ensure scope is understood and agreed before build phases begin.
• Facilitate working sessions and process mapping exercises with staff who have varying levels of digital fluency, translating operational workflows into functional specifications that vendor teams can act on.
• Develop and execute change management plans for each implementation, including stakeholder impact assessments, communication planning, and resistance identification — calibrated to a staff population that is not highly digitally experienced.
• Design and deliver end-user training programs and supporting materials (job aids, quick reference guides, recorded walkthroughs) that enable staff to operate new systems without ongoing support after go-live.
• Track adoption and readiness across stakeholder groups, escalating risks to the Director, Digital — The Market, and adjusting training or communication approaches based on observed gaps.
• Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and vendor delivery teams, ensuring vendor-produced documentation and configurations align with agreed business requirements and TIFF: The Market operational context.
• Maintain a consolidated requirements traceability matrix and change impact log across all active workstreams, providing the Director with a clear view of delivery progress and outstanding decisions at all times.
• Seasonal Contract
TARGET CONTRACT DATES:
• April 1 - September 30, 2026
WORK LOCATION:
• Office Location: 350 King Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5
• Weekly in-office requirements:
• Minimum 2 days (November to April)
• Minimum 3 days (May to October)
• Festival Office Requirements: Full Time during Festival
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• 3–5 years of combined business analysis and change management experience in technology implementation projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with stakeholders who have limited digital experience — translating system capabilities into plain-language training and communications.
• Proven experience eliciting and documenting functional requirements in multi-vendor or multi-workstream program environments.
• Ability to design and deliver end-user training and adoption materials independently, without a dedicated L&D function.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to produce clean, concise documentation for both business and technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a sole analyst/change resource, managing competing priorities across concurrent workstreams without day-to-day supervision.
Nice to Haves:
• Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms; Salesforce Admin or Business Analyst certification an asset.
• Familiarity with event management systems or audience-facing digital platforms in a live events, arts, or nonprofit context.
• Formal change management training (Prosci, ACMP, or equivalent); certification not required.
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• Experience working within or alongside nonprofit organizations; understanding of resource-constrained delivery environments.
VACANCY:
• This job posting is for an existing vacancy
