This is a Full Time Job
We are currently hiring for the position of:
COORDINATOR, ACCOUNTING AND PAYROLL
The role of the Coordinator, Accounting and Payroll is a dual role, primarily responsible with ensuring that vendor payments, including staff expenses, are recorded and processed accurately and in a timely manner, and performing tasks and responsibilities related to processing the hourly (unionized) payroll and supporting the ongoing goals and targets of the Finance team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shall include but not be limited to:
Accounts Payable
• Responsible for Staff Expense processing and reimbursement.
• Assist the AP Team with processing of invoices and cheque requests submitted for payment by matching invoices with original PO’s to confirm accuracy and ensuring proper back up documentation is provided with payment request.
• Ensuring that Purchase Orders received have been approved by the appropriate signing authority.
• Ensure hard and soft copy documents are filed in accordance with Finance Manual and ensure integrity of annual archiving
• Following up with vendor or internal administrators regarding outstanding invoices and open POs on a monthly basis.
• Assist with year End accrual process
Accounts Receivable
• Assist in the reconciliation of Retail and Concessions revenue and prepare related journal entries.
Payroll Processing
• Payroll processing for hourly and unionized payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
• Assist Payroll Manager with other payroll tasks as required
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of timesheets.
• Assist with responses of payroll inbox, responding to payroll inquiries from employees in a timely, efficient and engaging manner.
• Ad-hoc reporting requests.

• Other duties as assigned

• January 5, 2026
WORK LOCATION:
• Office Location: 350 King Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5
• Weekly in-office requirements:
• Minimum 2 days (November to April)
• Minimum 3 days (May to October)
• Festival Office Requirements: Full Time during Festival
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Completion of a college program or courses in bookkeeping, accounting, payroll or a related subject is required.
• Minimum 2-years experience in Payroll and Accounts Payable functionsFRID1-2 years of payroll experience, preferably with unionized payroll exposure, or currently enrolled in PCP program.
