Pmre: Security Operations Manager,

Penske Media Real Estate (PMRe), a division of Penske Media Corp. (PMC), is hiring a Security Operations Manager for a private island development catering to high-end clientele and luxury assets. This role requires working closely with our corporate security team to ensure a seamless and comprehensive security strategy. The ideal candidate will have a background in law enforcement and have exceptional technical expertise to assist with the build out of the security team, training, and management.

Reporting to the Director of Security for the island, the Security Operations Manager will:
• Assist island-wide surveillance and perimeter security
• Manage issuance and tracking of security badges/IDs, ensuring all individuals on island have completed the necessary waivers and NDAs
• Coordinate customs and immigration clearances when required
• Conduct interviews of witnesses and subjects and draft incident reports of those interviews
• Supervise transportation to/from the island, including boat team oversight and vessel care
• Respond to critical incidents occurring on TC and associated properties and establish command and control with other response elements
• Obtain and maintain necessary security and safety certifications
• Conduct inventory, training, and maintenance of security systems and equipment
• Draft and update standard operating procedures for security personnel and aligned with approved corporate policies.
• Coordinate Exuma-side ground transportation for staff, vendors, and contractors
• Establish effective entry/exit access procedures for Little Exuma entry control points
• Manage health and safety protocols across the property
• Identify high-value assets and ensure adequate protective measures are in place to prevent losses
• Conduct regular patrols of the island to maintain a visible security presence
• Establish and maintain effective liaison and partnerships with Bahamas law enforcement agencies
• Monitor contractor compliance as we expand into residential construction, including enforcement of rules through warnings and fines where needed
• Assist HR with conflict management and off-boarding processes
• Conduct local background checks on staff, contractors, and vendors
• Lead emergency response planning and activation, including drills and coordination during weather or medical events
• Oversee incident reporting and investigations involving safety, theft, or behavioral issues
• Manage access control and visitor tracking, including third-party vendors and guests
• Maintain key and asset control for restricted areas and critical equipment
• Coordinate installation and monitoring of surveillance technology.
• Manage man-camp operations, including:
• Ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and basic living standards are met
• Monitoring behavior and investigating reports of any misconduct or unauthorized activity (drug usage, solicitation etc.)
• Creating a safe, orderly environment that aligns with the expectations we set across the island
• Assist TC Head of Security with the build out of the security team, training, and management.
