JOB DUTIES:
-Coordinate the making of treatments/creative decks for Tool's pitches with brands and ad agencies
-Assign and delegate work to freelancers and internal creative team
-Communicate with and update the team on treatment progress, including the EPs and Directors
-Coordinate individual treatment teams (pair Directors with freelance writers and visual researchers)
-Oversee and maintain the creative process when freelancers are hired
-Provide editorial assistance during the treatment process, often involving proofreading/polishing text (Candidates should have strong grammar and writing skills, both technical and creative).
-Occasionally provide junior design assistance (making revisions directly in Adobe InDesign, Keynote, Google Slides, and sometimes performing and organizing visual research to supplement need).
-Manage several duties at once and assure that the most important projects are continually moving forward.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Assists with the execution of visual & written treatments
-Creates treatment plan, manages expectations, tracks jobs
-Supports and schedules staff of the Creative Services Department
-Primary liaison with Directors, Experience division, and Executive Producers
-Collaborates with EPs to evolve the treatment process
-Maintains and tracks budgets for each project
-Assists with social media requests as needed
DESIRED SKILLS:
-Have written, designed or coordinated treatments for commercial projects
-College degree
-Strong written and verbal communication
-Base knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Google Slides and Keynote, or at least eager to learn
-Prepared to check emails and respond accordingly on weekends
-Assertive and takes ownership
-Scrappy, resourceful, and relentless in trying to find solutions
-Able to troubleshoot problems, but also knows when to ask for help
-Able to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities under deadlines and pressure
-Creative with the ability to think innovatively.
-Able to function effectively as part of a team
-Outgoing and positive attitude
