Intern - Music Management

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Please only apply if you are currently enrolled in school and are able to receive college credit

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support management associates with day-to-day needs and various business operations
• Update and maintain client calendars, one sheets, press clippings, promotional assets, databases and tour budgets
• Coordinate client and executive travel
• Monitor social media and marketing campaigns
• Help design various client assets including social media packages, single covers, and more
• Compile weekly upcoming concert calendar for internal distribution
• Assist in the logistical coordination for various events, festivals and shows
• Opportunities to attend various industry events

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment as a self-starter who can take direction but work independently
• Possess strong communication and time management skills
• An approachable and positive attitude with a desire to learn
• Comfortable in both corporate and social environments
• Interest in both the music and entertainment industries
• Proficient in Microsoft office and Google docs, as well as experience with the Adobe creative suite
• Detail-oriented, organized
• Access to a personal laptop computer

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Completed 1st year of college and currently enrolled at a 4 year college or university
• Previous internship experience in the industry is preferred
• Preference given to those with music/entertainment related majors

TERMS:
• Internship is a minimum 3 month commitment
• Must be available to come in 3+ days per week
• Note: This is an internship for credit only-candidates MUST be able to receive credit from their college or university to be eligible
