Position Summary
Tiny Hero is a movie advertising agency, cutting trailers and TV spots for multiple studios such as Disney, Lionsgate, Apple TV+, Amazon Studios, Netflix, and more.
The IT Technician is responsible for supporting the technical needs of Tiny Hero, in the realm of media and entertainment advertising. Applicants should possess a strong work ethic and hands-on approach to solving IT issues and creating IT solutions. Prior experience with the Mac OS X landscape is required.
Applicants should be able to work well with a team of editors and managers and be a problem solver. This position will provide an opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of specialties within the IT field. Successful candidates will have a drive towards developing their careers and must maintain a customer first approach to communication and daily operation.
Qualifications
Be able to work in a fast paced environment and maintain excellent customer service.
Have experience troubleshooting Mac OS based operating systems and shared storage infrastructure.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills and team-focused mindset.
Experience providing IT support in creative advertising is a plus.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, G Suite and remote desktop solutions is also a plus.
Responsibilities
Provide Tier 1 and some Tier 2 helpdesk support to staff onsite and remotely including networking, account credentials, software installation, hardware installation.
Maintain content security guidelines per client needs including TPN, MPA, CDSA compliance.
Configure phone systems and prepare conference rooms for large meetings with various solutions (Google hangouts/Zoom/GotoMeeting/Conference bridges).
Troubleshoot Adobe and other creative software-related issues.
Deploy new workstations and assist in implementing hardware upgrades.
Onboard and offboard employees including account creation/deactivation and credential creation/suspension.
Maintain cohesive documentation with the intent of reducing repetitive incidents.
Occasionally work off-hours for planned maintenance and emergencies as needed.
