PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Director, Executive Search will develop and execute talent management strategies focused on best-in-class executive staffing solutions for Warner Media's businesses across the company portfolio. He/She will have specific ownership and management of high level cross divisional executive search execution supporting Warner Medias enterprise wide talent acquisition objectives. WarnerMedia, whose businesses include HBO, Warner Bros, Turner and Otter Media is a global leader in media and entertainment with businesses in television networks, film, TV entertainment and direct to consumer offerings and uses its industry-leading operating scale and brands to create, package and deliver high-quality content worldwide through multiple distribution outlets.

The Warner Media Group Worldwide Executive Search function is a long standing best in class internal executive search model with offices in NY, London and Singapore routinely leading over 200 strategic executive search / research projects annually.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Execute specific high profile senior level searches while serving as a key member of the team on all the global search assignments, projects and other talent activities.
• Recruitment efforts will be self-sufficient and conducted through direct sourcing, industry networking, Internet and desk research, Social Media, resume database, employee referrals and effective strategic sourcing partnership.
• Partner proactively and strategically with the WWR Global Research function on all executive search activity, key projects, and continually increase presence of both diverse and internal candidates for all searches.
• Manage and develop deep and sophisticated internal and external relations with senior executives across the Time Warner portfolio and key competitors, to ''know' and be ''known'' by key talent both within the company and our competitive set.
• Work successfully and collaboratively as a strategic business partner with participating client divisions and members of the WWR team to provide a seamless and effective executive search experience.
• Engage in business development activity across the company in deepening existing relationships and building new relationships through our multiple service offerings.
• Is a subject matter expert in media and entertainment specifically around key players/first movers in the industry, functional business drivers and disciplines, the competitive landscape, spotting trends and consistently identifying opportunities to raise the bar on talent deliverables.
• Drive the strategy and execution of real-time talent pipelines working with both Time Warner's internal talent profiles as well as the external open market.
• As a senior member of a best in class in-house search function, stay alert to cutting-edge recruitment strategies; benchmark effective practices in other appropriate companies; participate in professional associations/societies and stay abreast of ongoing executive staffing trends and developments
• Analyze and track global recruitment metrics, to include statistics on time to fill, applicant flow, turnover and source of hire, client satisfaction, cost savings and other.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS /WORK EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a successful executive recruiter either with a reputable executive search firm or within the Recruiting department of a well-regarded global corporation. He or she will have extensive executive search experience, both in execution, team leadership and client management. Specific media/ entertainment/digital experience is highly preferred. Experience working with creative, and within a fast-paced decentralized global creative company is highly preferred. International experience would be a plus.
• Approximately 7 year's relevant experience with demonstrated success in senior level search execution and sophisticated business partnering.
• Experience ideally should include a combination of agency (retained and contingency) and corporate recruitment in a global company.
• Must have the ability to build strong business partnerships internally and externally and partner with multiple stakeholders, including Corporate and Divisional Human Resource departments, Staffing Leaders and Senior Management, to influence and guide the recruitment process.
• Must have superior written and verbal communication skills necessary for completing all necessary correspondence and reports.
• Ability to communicate effectively and timely in a ''quick turnaround'' e-mail intensive culture.
• Strong customer service and relationship building skills.
• Ability to present solutions to senior management in a timely and concise manner.
• Impeccable follow up skills and attention to detail skills and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment is essential.
• Superior navigation skills in a large and decentralized, multi-division environment.
• Knowledge of Affirmative Action, EEO, guidelines on employee selection and employee relations issues relative to the recruitment process.
• Must be proficient in MS Office programs, internet usage and ability to learn new computer skills as required.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience. Master's degree preferred
