Los Angeles-based Tidal Wave Entertainment is a small but mighty full-service film production company. We are seeking a bright and personable self-starter who is able to work independently. Assignments will be ongoing regarding weekly responsibilities and deadlines.
Tasks include but are not limited to a variety of research projects related to investor proposals, script breakdowns and scheduling, budgeting, reading and covering scripts (although not a focus of the internship). This is an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand experience in film development with room to grow as projects move into prep and production.
This internship is for academic credit. It is ideally suited for students interested in both producing and production management. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office for Mac and PC, Movie Magic Scheduling, Movie Magic Budgeting, Final Draft and the leading social media platforms. Familiarity with editing software and general computer hardware is a plus but not required. You will gain experience from the inside out in a flexible work environment. We look forward to hearing from you!
