We are seeking a Marketing Manager to work from our Syracuse, New York Office who will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans that attract potential and retain existing clients, including promoting the Tickets.com brand through internal and external creative and promotional design and content. This position will manage the day to day marketing operations and activities. The Marketing Manager will develop marketing material and activities that are consistent with the Company's marketing strategy.
Essential Job Functions:
• Develop, implement, execute and manage company marketing plans and activities
• Develop and publish internal and external marketing communications
• Plan and implement online and print marketing campaigns
• Monitor, evaluate, providing on-going analysis and interpretation the effectiveness and results of marketing campaigns
• Manage day to day marketing vendors based on contract terms, assist with marketing vendor negotiations
• Generate and deliver management marketing reports to upper management
• Recommend resource allocations, oversee and track the marketing budget
• Communicate brand standards with internal and external partners to ensure the consistent implementation of brand guidelines. Optimize messaging by channel.
• Write, update, and maintain company collateral, including managing outside vendors responsible for graphic and web content
• Coordinate marketing campaigns with the Business Development team to develop strategic messaging tools which unify company communication
• Manage the creation of all product marketing materials including new products, new functionality, and product one sheets and maintains inventory of all materials.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Tickets.com's products and services.
• Draft professional correspondence (including letters, memos, proposal, etc) consistent with the Tickets.com image and brand.
• Adheres to corporate guidelines for expense reporting, human resources, filings, etc.
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Advertising or related field
• Ability to travel
• 3 to 5 years' experience in customer management, promotions, advertising, marketing, ticketing or related fields
• Program and project management skills, including planning, organizing, budgeting and coordinating the efforts of other team members
• Ability to multitask, organize, plan and execute multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and effectively with others both internally and externally.
• High degree of initiative and flexibility.
• Ability to identify, analyze and proactively respond to problematic situations, render sound judgment and provide recommended courses of action when necessary
• Experience managing marketing budgets and marketing financial activities
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent creative development, creative management and creative evaluation skills.
