Search for Retail Specialist jobs in Mission-KS
Under the general direction of the Retail Manager, you will go over restock items and new items that have been added to the acquisition list and attempt to acquire the items from retail stores. There will also be some times when the candidate will be asked to help with the processing of the inventory and prepping it for shipping. The candidate will need to have a reliable vehicle in order to travel between the office and the different retail store assigned to their route.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
• Purchasing inventory for resale from multiple locations across the metro
• Some processing and prepping of inventory for shipping
• Ensuring the quality of the packaging and the product before purchasing
• Driving and dressing appropriately to represent Ticket Boat in the eye of the public
• Identify and report any safety hazards immediately
• Keeping all company assets safe and accounted for (phone and credit cards)
Job Standards
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
Education/Experience: • High school diploma or GED minimum, any experience in ecommerce sales or product sourcing is a plus
Skills: • Must be able to do basic math without calculator (addition, subtraction, and percentages)
• Ability to communicate clearly over telephone, via email and in person.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including heavy telephone and email communication
• Attentive to detail
• Basic typing and keyboarding
• Good organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• General office equipment
• Computer skills in Microsoft Suite
• Judgment generally based on precedent, initiative required
Licenses: • A valid driver's license
Special Requirements: • Must have a reliable vehicle with current insurance
• Regular and predictable attendance is required
• Acute sight and hearing required
• Ability to move 20 pounds on a regular basis, occasionally move up to 50 pounds
